The two cookies we set
uae-expat-wills-session keeps you signed in and holds your assessment progress, and XSRF-TOKEN protects forms against being submitted by another site on your behalf. Both expire two hours after your last activity and both are required for the platform to work, so they cannot be switched off.

Analytics cookies, only if you accept them
If you choose Accept all, or turn Analytics on in Cookie Settings, Google Analytics sets two cookies on your device: _ga and _ga_2C8L9N60Z1. They tell us which pages are used and where people stop, so the assessment can be improved. Until you make that choice nothing is stored, and if you decline, nothing is stored at all. Analytics never receives your answers, your religion, your family details or any document name.

We use no marketing cookies
No advertising, retargeting or social media tracking technology runs on this site. There is no Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok or advertising network code anywhere on it. That category is switched off, and there is nothing in it to switch on.

Your cookie choice is not itself a cookie
Your decision is saved in your browser's own local storage rather than in a cookie, which is why the banner does not reappear on every page. Clearing your browsing data clears that decision and the banner will ask again.

Assessment progress
Assessment answers are held against your device inside the session cookie above until you create an account, which is what allows you to leave and return. There is no separate cookie for them.

What we do not do
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, we do not sell information collected through them, and we do not share your assessment answers with any analytics or advertising provider.

Managing cookies
Use Cookie Settings in the footer, or your browser settings. Blocking the two strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the platform working, including the assessment and signing in.

Changes to this policy
If we add or remove any cookie, this page and the update date change with it. This page names every cookie in use, so a change here is the record of a change on the site.
